Beloved mother of Grace Gagnet (Charles), Margaret Albert (Jay), Eugene Pereira (Patty), David Pereira (Susan) and George E. Pereira, III; and sister of Marie Jumel. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Nicholas, Vinnie, Catherine, Michael and John. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Pereira, Jr.; her mother, Marie Antoinette Horner Ingraham; her father, Joseph Sidney Ingraham; and her brothers, Joseph, Charles, Robert “Eddie”, William, Richard “Dick” and Frederick “Fred” Ingraham. Age 88 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 34 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Visitation on Saturday will begin at 1:30 PM and continue until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
