He is survived by his wife Irene Crawford Ansardi Plaisance of 9 years, Children: Robin Strecker (David); Terri Kinsella; Dawn Flite (Gordon); Traci Plaisance; Kirk Plaisance (Brittany) Step-children: Tessie Jones (Gary); Tammy Riggio (Sal); Lisa Bonnecarre (Louis); Lori Sanders ; Cindy Del Valle (Sige); Christie Trosclair (Brent) 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren Brothers: Ronald Plaisance and Wayne Plaisance He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Root Plaisance (wife of 38 years), and his parents: Norles Plaisance, Sr. and Gladys Babin Plaisance. Mr. Plaisance grew up in the Gretna, LA area, and has been a resident of Slidell, LA since 1964. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum Chemical Corp. in 2003 after 40 years, volunteered for SBBA for over 20 years as a board member, coach and umpire, coached football and basketball teams for SYFA and SYBA. He was also a member of the Bayou Liberty Civic Club, an avid bowler, fisherman, and fan of the Yankees, LSU, and the Saints. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, December 6, 2012, from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE BLVD WEST, in Slidell. Friends may also visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:00 am until service time. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the chapel of Honaker Funeral Home, on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 11:00am. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. ===================
