Beloved husband for 47 years of Cherie Marise LeBlanc Sanzone. Loving father of Sachi Marise Denny, Aja Michelle Sanzone, Jason Dean Sanzone, Sian Cherie Sanzone and Joshua Shayne Sanzone. Son of the late Ruby Gerdes Sanzone and Frank Anthony Sanzone. Brother of Lee Heymann, Russ Sanzone and the late Frank Sanzone. Grandfather of Alexandra, William, Jackson, Jade, Dean, Victoria, Kane, Reese and Logan. Ken was a man of great warmth and humor who loved his family and many friends who will miss him dearly. Ken was a life-long fisherman and golfer. In his youth, he was a star quarterback for the Ridgewood Preparatory football team. He participated in bodybuilding competitions and won several titles including Mr. New Orleans and Mr. Louisiana. He was a great supporter of the LSU tigers and New Orleans Saints. He was the proprietor of Preaux Painting Co. where he worked for many years. Perhaps his greatest legacy was his gift of love and commitment to family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Thursday from 12:00 noon until service time. Interment will be private.
