MARY LEE DEROUEN BILLIOT, of Violet, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 
2013 due to injuries suffered in a car accident in Arkansas.

Beloved Mother of Gregory John Sturcken, Jr., Jesse Lee Toups, and Kaila Ann 
Billiot.

Daughter of Sandra DeRouen Demonica and the late Dudley P. DeRouen.
Step-daughter of the late Warren Demonica.
Granddaughter of the late Calvin and Marie Schmiderer and Horace and Mary 
DeRouen.

Sister of Lisa D. Caro, Scott A. DeRouen, Tiffany D. Blakely, and the late 
Dudley P. DeRouen, Jr.

Also survived by 2 grandchildren: Eljay Sturcken and Dustin Sturcken; and 7 
nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews.

Age 45 years; born in New Orleans and a native of Slidell, LA for 35 years and 
a resident of Violet for the past year. Mary helped form a new AA chapter in 
Chalmette during the last year and was an active sponsor. She completed her 
Associate’s degree and was scheduled to gradute February 2, 2013 from Virginia 
College in Health Care Management and was pursuing her Undergradute in the 
same. She also completed her Horticultural certification.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and on Thursday 
morning from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
