Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2013/st1301.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== William Lindsay Chapman died on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Lakeview Hospital, Covington, LA following a heart attack. He was 75 years old. He is survived by his wife, Loredana Pucci Chapman; two children, Laura Chapman and David Chapman of San Rafael, CA; three grandchildren, Cole Lindsay, Kiara and Nicholas Chapman; a sister, Judith Chapman Atkins of Virginia and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Elizabeth Matthews and William David Chapman. Following graduation from De La Salle High School, he attended Louisiana Tech and entered Navy Flight School in Florida. He graduated from Tulane University, joined the U.S. Coast Guard as a reservist attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander of the Eighth C.G. District. After a brief tenure as a stock broker in New York City, he joined the Casualty Department of Aetna Life and Casualty. In 1973 he was promoted to The Hartford Home Office in Connecticut where he became a corporate trainer. He finished his successful career as a corporate consultant to the insurance industry. In 2001 he retired to Covington, LA Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 10:30 AM with visitation on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until Mass time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mr. Chapman to be made to the American Parkinson Disease Assoc., Parkinson Plaza, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305-1946, Heart or Diabetes Assocs. ===================
