Born in Germany, came to the United States as an infant, raised and lived in New Orleans and then Chalmette for 80 years, and has been residing for the last 2 years at Windsor Senior Living Community, Mandeville, LA. Bea was a member of "Chatter Chicks" women's social club for over 60 years and Aphrodite Carnival Club, Chalmette. She was a proud member of the St. Maurice Catholic Sodality and she volunteered many hours at St. Maurice Parochial School. Bea was a devout Catholic, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Beloved and devoted wife of Paul F. Dunn, Sr. for over 71 years. Loving mother of Paul F. Dunn, Jr. and wife Vancia, John C. Dunn and wife Roseanne, Fred P. Dunn and wife Pamela, Leonard J. Dunn and wife Chris-Ann, Alicia Dunn and husband Bill Baker, Ann Marie Acree and husband Trey and M. Theresa Dunn, wife of the late Michael A. Dunn. Devoted grandmother of Jeanne Brasher, Tena Belsom, Toni Chancey, Sarah Dunn, Christian Dunn, Kendall Dunn, Kelly Cañas, Randy Dunn, Rebekah Dunn, Gennifer Dunn, Amy Simpkins & Jenifer Davis. Great grandmother of Lacey, Peyton, Cody, Isabella, Diego, Alexis, Dylan, Kendall, Jr., Beckett, Seth, Nicholas & Jayden and she is survived by one great-great granddaughter, Reese. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Jane Catholic Church, Abita Springs, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Visitation at the church on Wednesday from 11:30 am until Mass time.
