Margaret Elizabeth “Margie” Knox Lindsey passed away at her residence on 
Sunday, January 13, 2013.

She is the beloved wife of Thomas Edward “Sonny” Lindsey; loving mother of 
Laurie Jane Lindsey Waddell (Gregg), Timothy Edward Lindsey (Karen) and Leigh 
Ann Lindsey Freshley; grandmother of Brittany Waddell Pace (Seth), Ashley 
Waddell, Abby Lindsey, Miles Lindsey, Margaret Lindsey “Maggie” Freshley, and 
Mary Callie Freshley; and great-grandmother of Oudrey Jules Gros, IV, Brooklyn 
Jane Pace and Avery Marie Pace. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Elizabeth Gilmer Knox and her 
father, Wilbur Robert Knox.

Age 74 years, she was a native of Montgomery, AL and a resident of Mandeville, 
LA for the past seven years. With her husband, she was the owner and operator 
of Poydras Frame and Art Gallery in New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 
St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Ashbury Dr., Mandeville, LA 70448 on 
Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 12:00 noon.

Visitation on Wednesday, AT THE CHURCH, will be from 10:00 AM until service 
time.

Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
