SYBIL ANNE GALIVAN OTERI, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the age of 
76.

She is the loving wife of Robert J. ‘Bob’ Oteri for 58 years.
Daughter of the late John L. (Les) Galivan and Cecile de St. Germain Galivan.
Preceded in death by her brother, Leslie G. Galivan
Beloved mother of Christine Oteri Monnin (Gary), Jeffrey R. Oteri (Renée) and 
Cynthia Oteri Butera (Brian).
Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Katie Monnin Reidell (Matt),Vincent Monnin 
(Liz), Jacob R. Oteri, Erin R. Oteri, Benjamin J. Butera, Robert C. Butera, 
Brandon J. Butera, and one great-grandson, Vincent A. Monnin.
Survived by her devoted nieces, Jerri Galivan McDonald (Bill), Sharon Galivan 
Dimm (Joe) and Kathleen Galivan Quatroy (Calvin).

She is a graduate of Annunciation High School, New Orleans, class of 1954, 
where she made friendships that lasted a lifetime.

She enjoyed spending time with her Mah Jongg group and attending dinners with 
her lady friends from Brother Martin High School.
She especially enjoyed family gatherings.
She was a loving and giving person to all and will be truly missed.

The family wishes to thank the Heart Staff at Ochsner Medical Center and her 
Ochsner Home Health nurse, Grace Licciardi, for her kindness and dedication.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 Hwy 433, (Bayou Liberty Road) Slidell, 
LA, on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 12:00 o’clock noon.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at the church on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
