Harden “Scoona” Pierre Palmer, 62, of Lacombe died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Ordone Palmer; daughters and son-in-law, Fran 
and Gary Broussard, and Jerquetta Palmer; son and daughter-in-law, Henderson 
and Crystal Palmer; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Rosa Batiste; sisters, 
Christina Williams, Arrizola Stallworth, Sedonia Perry and Idell Batiste; 12 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, 
nephews, cousins and other relatives. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Napoleon and Edna Pierre Batiste 
Palmer, and son, Lucas Palmer.

He was a lifetime Lacombe resident.

Visitation will be Jan. 19, starting at 9 a.m., followed by a mass at noon with 
Father Kyle Dave officiating, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 28088 Main St., 
Lacombe. 

Burial will be at Williams No. 2 Cemetery in Lacombe.

Richardson Funeral Home of St. Tammany is handling arrangements.
