Julius G. Spell, age 87, of Covington, LA, passed away on Monday, January 7, 
2013. A life long resident of Covington, he was born August 9, 1925 to the late 
Willie Spell and the late Bessie Sharp Spell.

The beloved husband of Mavis Magee Spell, he is survived by three sons: Terry 
O. Spell, R. Glen Spell D.D.S. (Karen) and Todd L. Spell (Mary); one sister, 
Betty Jenkins; one brother, Joseph Spell and four grandchildren: Meghan, Cali, 
Daniel and Payton. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy G. Spell; 
three sisters: Yvonne Baham, Alice McIntyre and Helen Crow and three brothers: 
L.M., Otis and Donald Spell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Shepherd’s Care Ministries, 20115 
Highway 1081 Covington, LA 70435.

Visiting hours at the church will begin Wednesday at 9:00 AM.

Interment at Shepherd’s Fold Cemetery will immediately follow services.
