Stacy Matthew Tate passed from this life on December 12, 2012 at his residence 
in Grand Bay, AL. 

Husband of Gwendolyn Ann Tate for 19 years. Beloved son of Linda A. (Tate) Nix 
and the late C. Edward Tate. 
Father of Tiffany Marie Vidrine, Troy Michael Smith-Tate, and Harleigh Lynn 
Tate. Grandfather of Kyleigh Jaide Tate. Stepson of Sally Tate Vlosich. Brother 
of Steven M. Tate, Sherri M. Schwartz, John Tate, Michelle Tate. 

Also survived by his son's mother, Janet Smith, brothers and sisters in-law and 
a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA on January 
22, 2013.
