Patricia Ann Edwards Wright, 83, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Harold “Hal” and Cindy Wright 
Jr., William “Bill” and Renee Wright, Cynthia Wright and Nick Manzella, Teresa 
“Tess” and Tony Pena, and Timothy and Lisa Wright; 17 grandchildren and 10 
great-grandchildren, to whom she leaves a legacy, and siblings, Laura Cronic 
and Douglas “Buddy” Edwards. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Wright Sr.; parents, 
William Horace Edwards Sr., and Edna Boyles Edwards; brothers, William “Bill” 
and Benjamin “Benny” Edwards; sister, Edna “Kitty” Chabert, and grandson, 
Nicholas Langlois.

A pioneering member and Sunday school teacher of Word of Faith Church, she made 
it her life’s mission to serve the Lord with all her heart and touch the lives 
of all she encountered. Her children rejoice in knowing that as she entered the 
gates of heaven, their dad’s five-year wait to be reunited with the love of his 
life had finally ended.

A celebration of life and legacy was held Jan. 5, and she was laid to rest at 
Memorial Gardens in Picayune, Miss.
