Avis Goldate Bourgeois passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the age of 
86.

Beloved wife of the late Carl J. Bourgeois, Sr.; loving mother of C.J. 
Bourgeois, Jr. (Trudy), Paul Bourgeois (Cheryl), Lana B. Cronvich (Jim) and Jan 
B. Fisher (Mark). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Georgie Gentlucci Goldate and Oscar 
P. Goldate; six brothers and two sisters.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Madisonville, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the Funeral mass at St. 
Anselm’s Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, LA 70447 on 
Saturday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation AT THE CHURCH Saturday will 
begin at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow at Theodore Dendenger Cemetery in Madisonville, LA
