Jesse "Ernie" Ernest Brown, 74, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Audry Melerine Brown; children, Darlene 
Brown Billiot and Michael Brown; stepchildren and their spouses, Wesley and 
Crystal Melerine, Willie Bourgeois, Gina Kellogg and Peter Ferrell, and George 
and Angel Kellogg Jr.; father-in-law, Felice Lopez Melerine; sister and 
brother-in-law, Carolyn Brown and Bobby Shirer; nine grandchildren and four 
great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. 

He was predeceased by his child, Dominique Kellogg; parents, John Wilson and 
Edith Shuler Brown, and sister, Elizabeth Brown Marchant.

The memorial service will be held Feb. 22 at noon, with visitation starting at 
10 a.m., at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington. 
Dr. Waylon Bailey of First Baptist Church of Covington will officiate.
