KIRST

Alvin Holmes Kirst Jr., 59, of Pearl River died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Kirst; children, Alvin Kirst III and Aimee 
Elizabeth Kirst; grandchildren, Zachary Kirst and Seth Kirst Talley; a special 
sister, Doris Elizabeth Kirst; brother, Oliver Ameal Mitchell Jr.; brothers-in-
law, Daniel, David and Samuel Zechenelly, and sister-in-law, Rachel Zechenelly.

The loving husband, father and grandfather was a member of Diamond, Pearl and 
Slidell lodges, Scottish Rite and Kosmos Lodge No. 171 in Lacombe.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 4 at 1 p.m., with visitation starting at 11 
a.m., at the D.T. Williams Funeral Home Chapel, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, 
Pearl River. 

Interment will follow at Austin Cemetery in Pearl River.

Williams Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
