SANDRA LANCASTER, 59, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 
2013, in Slidell.

Sandra was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and was raised in the Jackson, 
Mississippi area, where she graduated from Madison Ridgeland High School in 
1971. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mississippi State University. 
She had been a resident of the New Orleans, Slidell area for the past 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Valgene Lancaster Roberts and Wallace 
Lancaster.

She is survived by her husband: Mark Darland; a son: Ben Furlan; three 
brothers: Gary Lancaster (wife Debbie), Wayne Lancaster (wife Brenda), and Paul 
Lancaster (wife Elizabeth). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other 
relatives.

A Memorial Visitation will be held in her honor at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 
GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 10:00am until noon.
