ROSE TORTORICH TULES, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 
at Ochsner Northshore Hospital in Slidell, LA.

Beloved wife of the late Angelo Tules.
Mother of Ernestine “Tina” Kaufmann and husband Valentine Kaufmann, Jr. and 
Victoria Duplantis and husband Whitney Duplantis, Jr.
Daughter of the late Phillip Tortorich and Vita Ricabbuta Tortorich.
Sister of Mamie Lopiccolo, Pauline Gaudet and the late Josephine Eschmann, 
Peter Tortorich, Salvadore Tortorich, Joseph Tortorich, Mary Scamardo and 
Lucille Detillier.
Also survived by 4 grandchildren; David Kaufmann (Laura), Mark Kaufmann (Pam) 
and Chris Kaufmann (Pam) and Dr. Dina Duplantis (Russ Meyer), 6 great 
grandchildren; David Angelo Kaufmann (Charee’), Lauren Kaufmann Navarre 
(Jason), Mark Kaufmann, Jr., Rachel Kaufmann, Blaine Kaufmann and Bryce 
Kaufmann, 3 great great grandchildren; Mason David Kaufmann, Marshal Angelo 
Kaufmann, and Dyllan Rose Navarre and numerous nieces and nephews.

Age 93 years; a native of Hammond, LA, a longtime resident of New Orleans and a 
resident of Slidell since 2005.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:00am 
until 11:00am. 

Interment will follow in St. Roch Cemetery.
