George Frank Matthew Yates Jr., 31, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

Survivors include his fiancee, Lori-Dee Windham; mother, Karen Rumsey Davis; 
sister and brother-in-law, Nina Yates and Joseph Teano; grandmother, Nina 
Elizabeth Rumsey; stepmother, Kathleen Landry Yates; stepsiblings, Richard 
Joseph Serigne Jr., Olivia Dammann and Rebecca Marie Serigne; aunts and uncles, 
Brenda and Richard Ard, Ann and Larry Dean, Carolyn Kahl, Johnny and Susan 
Yates, Donnie and Shantel Yates, Ed and Sue Crosby; Linda and Dave Jamison, 
Penny and Charles Rainer, and Sharon and Gary McClendon, and a host of nieces, 
nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, George Frank 
Matthew Yates Sr.; grandparents, John Chester and Valley Pittman Yates, and 
George Gerald Rumsey, and uncles, William (Mann) Crosby and Willie Edward Yates 
(Cathy).

He was well known for his kind heart and dedication to family.

The funeral service will be held March 1 at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10-11 
a.m., at Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41 in Pearl River. 

Interment will follow at Haaswood Cemetery. 
The Rev. Susan Lassalle of First Christian Church of Slidell will officiate.
