Lew R. Boyce died on March 22, 2013 of congestive heart failure under hospice 
care at his home. 

Mr. Boyce was a long time resident of Covington where he lived with his wife of 
54 years, Janice.

Lew was a retired military officer of thirty years, an independent businessman, 
and a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Covington.

He was born on September 11, 1933 in Pineville, LA to Inez G. Boyce and Lewis 
C. Boyce who preceded him in death along with a brother, Robert K. Boyce. 

He is survived by his wife, Janice P. Boyce and two sons, Dr. R. Graham Boyce 
(Leslie) of Covington and John Darryl Boyce (Lynn) of Mandeville, LA, and four 
grandchildren, John T. Boyce, Carley E. Boyce, Ryan C. Boyce, and R. Garrett 
Boyce.

E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington, LA is in charge of arrangements. A 
memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Christ 
Episcopal Church with a visitation from 10:00 AM until service time.

Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Episcopal Church in Pineville with the 
Reverend Fred H. Tinsley presiding on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Noon. 
Friends may call at the church from 11:00AM to service time on Wednesday. 

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pineville.
