HARVEY R. LAPE, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 
Ochsner Northshore Hospital in Slidell, LA.

Beloved husband of the late Joyce Lape.
Father of David Lape, Michael Lape, Philip Lape, and Della Herron.
Son of the late Stephen and Della Lape.
Brother of Herb Lape, Mable Lape and the late Alvin Lape, Ivy Payne, Johnnie 
Lape, and Ida Lape.
Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Age 88 years; a native of Missouri and a resident of Slidell since 1971. Mr. 
Lape was a retired Truck Driver for Herrin Trucking Co. and McClean Trucking 
Co. and was also a musician and mechanic.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be from 
11:00am until 2:00pm. 

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
