Gustav S. Miramon passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at his home in 
Mandeville, LA. 

He was a born January 15, 1935 in New Orleans, LA to late George C. and Marie 
Seeger Miramon and has been a resident of Mandeville for over 25 years.

The beloved husband of Gloria Matthews Miramon; he is survived by one daughter, 
Julie Miramon Knight; one granddaughter, Saylor A. Knight; two grandsons, Logan 
Gus Knight and Gavyn C. Knight; one brother, Bernie Miramon (Beverly); sister-
in-law, Pat Miramon and brother-in-law, Daniel Matthews (Shirley).

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and George Miramon.

He was known for his sense of humor in good times and in bad. He loved to golf, 
fish, hunt and play with his grandsons.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 11:30 AM on 
Monday, April 01, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Monday at 9:30 AM.

Private interment services will take place at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in 
Covington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency
