PETTIGREW, HILDA HEMARD 
(March 11, 1922 - March 20, 2013)

Hilda Forschler Hemard Pettigrew, a lifelong resident of Mandeville, died 
peacefully on March 20, 2013 at the age of 91. As a child, Hilda spent every 
summer at her grandmother’s home on Lakeshore Drive playing on “the beach”.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by two sons, Dr. Bryan Hemard 
(Mary) and Patrick Hemard (Adrian Germany). Her grandchildren include: Bryan 
Hemard (Sondra), Danielle Hemard Melton (Brian), Tammy Hemard Stiebing 
(Milton), Jeffery Hemard (Amanda), Casey Hemard Palascak (Joseph), Tiffany 
Hemard Wall (Dwayne) and Gratia Hemard Coakley; great grandchildren include: 
Jake Hemard, Josh Hemard, Luke Melton, Michael Melton, Haley Stiebing, Grant 
Stiebing, Laney Stiebing, Finley Hemard, Hayden Hemard, Grayson Hemard, JB 
Palascak, Wesley Palascak, Hannah Fersch, Rachel Fersch, Lydia Wall, Corey 
Wall, Allison Wall and Madison Coakley.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass at 
2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st 
Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours at the funeral home will begin Saturday at 12:00 Noon.

Interment at the Mandeville Cemetery will immediately follow mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that mass intentions be offered for 
Hilda Hemard Pettigrew at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mandeville,
