Rene John Piegts passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the age of 88.

Preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Gloria Montegut Piegts.
Loving father of Jamie Piegts Hymel and Renee Piegts Klos.
Son of the late Wilhelmina Luce Piegts and Maurice Rene Piegts.
Longtime companion of Anna Mae Lafont.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on 
Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1501 West 
Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church 
on Thursday from 10:00 AM until Mass time.

Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery #3 in New Orleans.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mr. Piegts 
to be made to St. Michael’s Special School, 1522 Chippewa St, New Orleans, LA 
70130.
