She is the beloved wife of Peter Randazzo, Jr., for 46 years, and the devoted and loving mother of Robert M. Randazzo (Jennifer), Samantha R. Young (Scot), Ashlie R. Chocheles (David), and Alicia R. Moore (Justin). Step-grandmother of Madison Moore. She is the daughter of Genevieve P. Ambrozewski, who resides in Picayune, MS and the late Arthur E. Ambrozewski, Sr. She is also survived by her siblings: Arthur Ambrozewski, Jr. (Milene), Lani Turck (Michael), Sharyn Robichaux (Conrad), Kenneth Ambrozewski (Linda), Cynthia Geske (Joseph), and Kevin Ambrozewski (Patsy); Sister-in-law to Angelina Villa (Charles) and Joseph Randazzo (Susan); and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, other relatives and friends. Veronica was a long life resident of Chalmette, LA until 2005, when she relocated to Mandeville, LA. She attended C.F. Rowley Elementary School and Chalmette High School. She graduated from LSUNO in 1966 with a degree in Education. She taught at Andrew Jackson High School in Chalmette, LA until 1971. She entered federal service and worked for the Department of the Interior and Social Security. In 1981, she went to work for Freeport McMoRan where she continued until 1993. In 1995, she began her employment at the USDA-National Finance Center, where she remained until her retirement in 2008. Veronica was an extraordinary person who devoted her life to her family, was a pillar of strength, and an inspiration to many. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 12:00 noon with visitation on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
