Hazel Padgett Romero passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, 
March 22, 2013.

Beloved mother of Camille Romero Reed (Robert) and Victoria Romero (Glen 
Palmer). Grandmother of Kathryn Palmer, Olivia Romero-Reed and William Bryson 
Reed. Sister of Carolyn Padgett Hackler and the late Camille Padgett Brown.

Age 79 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington, LA for the 
past 15 years. She was a retired secretary with the US Forest Service. Member 
of Trinity Church of Covington and supported the Polycystic Kidney Disease 
Foundation.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the graveside service 
at Hope Mausoleum, 4841 Canal St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, March 30, 2013 
at 11:00 AM.
