She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ulysses (Brother) Mark Wattigney, Jr. Born in New Orleans on August 23, 1921, to her late parents George A. Schneider, Sr. and Catherine Newman Schneider, she is survived by her daughter Catherine (Kayneil) W. Bumpas and son-in-law Andrew G. Bumpas of Mandeville. Sister of George A. Schneider, Jr. (Huntsville, AL) and the late Paul J. Schneider, Sr. (New Orleans). She is survived by her nieces Paulette S. D’Aunoy (Bush, LA), and Brenda M. McCard (Franklin, TN) and her nephews George A. Schneider III (Greencastle, IN), Stephen K. Schneider (Huntsville), Paul J. Schneider, Jr. (Mandeville), and Colonel Henry E. Mull, Jr., USMC (Emerald Isle, NC). She is also survived by her cousin and best friend Dorothy S. Hall of Mandeville. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc. 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 1:00PM. Visitation from 11:00AM until service time. Internment follows at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Emile (Buddy) Noel III of Our Lady of Lake Catholic Church will officiate, assisted by Deacon Steve Cohan. ===================
