JACKLYN FOX ABNEY, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 
Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Dennie W. Abney.
Mother of Kenny L. Abney and wife Elizabeth of Millard, MS and Jack S. Abney 
and wife Jennifer of Slidell, LA.
Daughter of the late Jack and June Fox.
Sister of James Fox and Jerry Fox.
Also survived by 3 grandchildren; Hunter Abney, Ella Abney and Ava Abney.

Age 69 years; a native of Lafayette, LA and a resident of Slidell since the 
1960’s. Mrs. Abney was a retired hairdresser where she served out of her home.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will 
begin at 8:00pm.

Donations to The Wounded Warrior Project are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
