Logan John Cry left the world Wednesday April 3, 2013 at the tender age of 
fourteen due to complications of ALD. 

Born May 7, 1998 in Akron, Ohio, Logan leaves behind his loving mother Jaymee, 
his father David, and baby brother Brennan. 
Logan is also survived by paternal grandparents George and Irma Cry of Slidell, 
and Charles and Cathy Marshall of Akron. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, 
cousins, and friends.

In 2005 when Logan’s mother Jaymee married David Cry, Logan became a member of 
a Slidell family that cherished him. Logan always had a precocious smile, a 
loving heart, and wonderful attitude. When ALD began to take hold in 2010, 
Logan was a brave soul. 
He attended Boyet Jr. High where he loved his teachers and enjoyed his 
classmates.

The past two years have been a constant struggle for Logan. By no fault of his 
own, ALD took things from him that no child should lose. Throughout it all, he 
maintained courage and joy. The last words that Logan ever spoke were, I love 
you mommy,
