He was born October 20, 1935 in Salem, MA to Richard Bainbridge and Florence Wetson Hart. The beloved husband of the late Joyce Hain Hart, he is survived by one daughter, Dalyce Hart Burvant, husband Mark Burvant; from Madisonville, LA two sons, Richard Brett "Rick" Hart, wife Elizabeth Hamaker Hart, from Covington, LA and Ross Bennett Hart. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Hillary Hart, Timmy Reedy, Casey and Rick Ragan and Mark Burvant. Dick was the Head Golf Professional at Hinsdale Golf Club in Hinsdale, IL for 43 years. He was a member of the PGA and PGA TOUR. He was the winner of the 1965 Azalea Open defeating Phil Rodgers in one of the longest playoff victories in PGA TOUR history. Dick won the Illinois Open and Illinois PGA Championships 3 times each and Illinois Match Play twice. He was inducted into the Illinois PGA Hall of Fame in 1990. Dick spent the past 8 years living in Abita Springs, Louisiana near his grandchildren. Family members gathered privately to celebrate Dick's life and legacy. He will be remembered for his humility and his Gentlemanly nature. The love he had for his family will be cherished forever. In lieu of flowers, Dick's family would prefer donations be made in his honor to the American Heart Association, www.americanheart.org or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. ===================
