KENT, ELLEN V. YARBOROUGH

ELLEN V. SCARBOROUGH KENT, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 
at River Regions Hospice House in River Ridge, LA.

Beloved wife of the late Ross L. Kent, Sr.
Mother of Roslyn Stevens (Robert), Ross L. Kent, Jr. (the late Nancy Phelps 
Kent), Steven W. Kent, and Ellen Barrow (Bob).
Daughter of the late Lorenzo Scarborough and Nettie Irwin Scarborough.
Also survived by 1 brother, 1 sister, preceded in death by 3 brothers and 
survived 9 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

Age 82 years; a native of Yazoo County, MS and a resident of Slidell since 
1971.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 
11:00am until 1:00pm.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Donations to The American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org are 
preferred, in lieu of flowers.
