Meghan Victoria Lopez, a student at Southeastern Louisiana University, passed 
away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. 

She was born on September 5, 1991 in Metairie, LA and was a graduate of 
Covington High School with the Class of 2009. Meghan had a love for life, 
laughter, music and nature.

The beloved daughter of Michael M. Lopez and Dena Lagasse Lopez, she is the 
granddaughter of Thelma Tate Lopez and the late George Lopez, Sr.; Carolyn 
Lagasse Westmoreland (Gerald) and the late Lloyd A. Lagasse, Jr.; Budgie and 
Anita Wallace. She is also survived by her step-mother, Kelly Collins; step-
sister, Ashley Babington Ball; her mother’s fiancé, Richard Klein; her uncles 
John and George Lopez, Jr. and her aunt Karen and uncle Chuck Chaput.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 3:00 PM on 
Sunday, April 7, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Sunday at 1:00 PM.

Graveside services will take place on Monday at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn 
Memorial Park next to Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell, LA.
