MORGAN, JOHN
Died: April 2, 2013

The sky cried on earth, but the sun sparkled and danced in Heaven. John Morgan 
has come home, his mother, father, brothers and sisters were there rejoicing 
that he was to join them.

Born to Vallie Love and John Morgan Stockstill, Sr. on March 14, 1932 at home 
in Biloxi. 

He was a robust and curious boy, wanting to know how things worked. To the end 
he was fixing things. Only he knew what they were. Mr. Stockstill suffered a 
stroke on Dec. 3, 2012.
Honorably discharged from U.S. Air Force, he served his country proudly and 
well.

Married 3 times, Joyce Tapper, mother of his 2 children, Roxann Stockstill 
Johnson, and Delmar Daniel Stockstill; Marie McGinnis, with 4 step-children, 
Dale Paige, Jr., Timothy Paige, Sharon Tardo, & Gina Crawford; And Myrna 
Martin, his 3rd wife. 

He was dearly loved by all. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 
great-grandchildren.

He loved his work, to fish, and loved a good joke. A dignified and honorable 
man, he will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM at D.T. 
Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41, Pearl River, La. Visitation to start at 
10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Burial will be at Finley Cemetery in the Stockstill family plot on Hwy 53 in 
Lyman, MS.
