POLK, VIRGIL “DICKIE BOY”, JR.

On Saturday April 20, 2013 Virgil “Dickie Boy” Polk Jr., age 75 of Pearl River, 
LA went to be with our Lord. 

He is survived by his wife Ruth Polk, 3 children Matthew Wayne Polk (Terri) of 
Pearl River, LA, Carla Polk Roussell (Chuck) of Birmingham, AL, and Ginger Polk 
Culpepper (Scott) of Sioux Center, IA. 
Mr. Polk is also survived by 7 grandchildren Katie Polk (Michael Jones), 
Jessica Polk Barrois (Noah), and Ethan Polk all of Pearl River, LA, Micah 
Culpepper, Josiah Culpepper, Hannah Culpepper all of Sioux Center, IA, and 
Blaine Roussell of Birmingham, AL, and 2 great grandchildren Matthew and 
Gabriel Jones. 

Mr. Polk is preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Virgil Polk Sr., and his 
son B.J. Chapin.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at 2 pm from the 
chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River, LA 70452.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2013 from 6 - 10 pm at the funeral 
home and on Wednesday from 9 am until service time.

Interment to follow at Charter Oak Cemetery, Pearl River, LA.

Dr. Reggie Ogea to be officiating.
