Richard E. Ray, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 
Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, LA.

Beloved husband of the late Carmen Ray.
Father of Richard Kyle Ray, Gregory Cecil Ray, Gino Romano Ray, and Sandro 
Bruce Ray.
Son of the late Cecil C. Ray and Dessel Jones Ray.
Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Age 81 years, a native of Jackson County, WV and a resident of Slidell since 
1975. Mr. Ray served his country in the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict 
retiring after 24 years as a Chief Master Sgt. for the US Air Force. After his 
retirement he worked for NASA for 20 years and also for 10 years for Ray Bros., 
Inc. New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, LA on Thursday, May 2, 
2013 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12:00pm.
