Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2013/st1304.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Ella Louise Taylor-Walker, affectionately known as Louise (Lou), was called home by her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 12, 2013. She was a born the second of eight children on May 4, 1932 in Leland, MS to Henry Taylor and Charli Bell Fisher-Taylor. The family relocated to St. Louis, MO where she completed her education and married John Walker of New York. Of this union, three children were born and reared in New York City. After retirement, Louise lived for several years in North Carolina with her daughter and son-in-law, Kathyn and Larry. Since 2006, she has been in Louisiana in the home of her daughter Deborah and son-in-law Alfred. Louise’s caring and giving spirit gave her beauty that shined from within. Her family, friends and all those she worked with are witnesses to the beauty her soul possesses. She is survived by three children: Kathyn Murray, Deborah McCarthy and John Walker; two sons-in-law, Larry Murray and Alfred McCarthy; six grandchildren: Louisia, Lamiquia, Tim, Trey, Jonathan and Sebastian; one great-grandson, A.J. and four siblings: Willie Wesson, Robert Taylor, Dorothy Taylor and Ernestine Lawrence. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends and her caregiver, Sandra Patterson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to gather for visiting hours from 6-9:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Private funeral services will take place at a later date concluding with interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA. ===================
