Bessie Sharp Williams, 94, was born Sept. 29, 1918 in St. Tammany Parish and 
passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.

She is survived by: daughter, Betty Jean White (Paul) of Baton Rouge, Rodney 
Williams (Liz) of Perkinston, MS and Dennis Williams (Connie) of Bush; six 
grandchildren, Kevin White, Karen W. Brashier, Tina W. St. Claire, Kristi W. 
Sherman, Staci W. Parrie and Shannon Williams; nine great-grandchildren, two 
great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Williams; and her parents, 
John David Sharp and Selina Taylor Magee Sharp.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
on Friday, April 19, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Friday from 12:00 noon followed by a 
service at 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mrs. Bessie 
Williams to be made to the charity of your choice.
