LORRAINE RASCH ENGLANDE, of Slidell, LA passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013.

Beloved Wife of the late Andrew Joseph Englande, Sr.
Daughter of the late Alice Elizabeth Norton Rasch and Joseph M. Rasch.
Sister of Dorothy Reeson, the late Joseph ‘Buddy” Rasch, Marjorie Rasch and 
Norton Rasch,III.

Mother of Andrew Joseph Englande, Jr.(Bonnie), Larry Peter Englande(Peggy), 
Clifford Michael Englande(Cindy), Lorraine Margie Englande, Laura Englande 
Scallan, and the late Norton Morris Englande.
Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great 
grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A native of New Orleans and a resident of St. Bernard parish for over 40 years. 
She worked as the head cook at the rectory of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. She 
was an excellent cook who once won a Times Picayune cooking contest. Her hot 
tamales were the best in the world! 

Lorraine will be sadly missed by many.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial
Mass at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd, 
Slidell, LA on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in Cypress Grove Cemetery, New Orleans, La..

Visitation at church on Tuesday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Masses preferred in lieu of flowers.
