Frances Fay Sharpe Harp passed away at the age of 85 on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 
her home in Abita Springs.

Born in Louann, Arkansas to Cireco M. and Mrytle Forman Sharpe. She has been a 
resident of Abita Springs for the past 20 years.

Cherished mother to Carolyn Hensley Keen, Dianne Hensley Roussel and the late 
William “Billy” Hensley III. Mother-in-law of Collins Roussel. She was the 
beloved wife of the late William Hensley, Jr. and William “Jr” H. Harp, Jr. 
Sister of the late Peggy Sharpe Baber. Loving grandmother to 8 grandchildren: 
Jeffrey and Chad Martin, Angela Morere, Natalie Schneider, Jennifer Parrish, 
Rachel Laurent, Emily Roussel and the late Charles Ray Martin, Jr.; 18 great-
grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

In her lifetime she was part of 5 and 6 generations living. Also survived by 
numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 
on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Visitation from 12:00 PM until service 
time. 

Interment in Abita Springs Cemetery.
