RONALD E. MADEJ, of Mandeville, LA, passed away at home on Saturday, May 11, 
2013.

Beloved husband of the late Vicki L. Madej.
Father of Shelley M. Hart (Rick), Stacey K. Gaskill (Scott), and Scott P. Madej 
(Jeanna).
Son of the late Benedict P. and Frances Kendziora Madej.
Brother of Joanne Olenick, Conrad Madej, and Sylvia Wendling.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren; Brenna Hart, Lauren Hart, Jacob Gaskill, 
Brendan Madej, Morgan Madej, and the late Matthew Hart.

Age 75 years; a native of Detroit, MI, a former resident of Slidell, LA and 
recently a resident of Mandeville, LA. He served his country in the US Army 
during the Korean Conflict and was a former Reserve Police Officer for the 
Warren Police Dept. in Warren, MI. He retired in 1981 from Chrysler Co. in 
Michigan and in 1999 from Textron Marine and Land Systems in New Orleans, LA. 
He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner and a Life Member of Detroit Masonic 
Lodge #2. He was also a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in 
Slidell, LA since 1981.

A graveside service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 
15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI 49012 (269) 731-4164 on July 12, 2013 at 
11:00am.

Donations to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital is preferred, in lieu of 
flowers.
