Oscar Jacob "O.J." Schmidt Jr., 86 of Folsom, LA died on Friday, May 17, 2013, 
at his residence in Folsom, LA.

Born, Tuesday, August 03, 1926 in New Orleans, LA to Oscar Jacob Schmidt, Sr. 
and Clara Schmidt. He was a WWII and Korean War Veteran having served in the US 
Navy.

Survived by his Daughter - Sherryl Schmidt Lutz, Son - Michael Gerard Schmidt, 
Son - Keith Gerard Schmidt (Sheri), Daughter - Leigh Ann Schmidt Kauwell (Dan), 
Grandchildren: Ashley Zito, Stacie Bowden, Kelley Bowden, Jacob Lutz, and Eva 
Schmidt, Sister - Delores Raymond.

He was predeceased by his Wife - Bernice Schmidt, Father - Oscar Jacob Schmidt, 
Sr., Mother - Clara Schmidt, Brother - Carl Schmidt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on 
Monday, May 20, 2013 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at E. J. Fielding 
Funeral Home.

Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.
