Sandra "Sandy" Lee Whitacre, formerly Sandra Lee Dukes, on Monday, May 13, 2013 
was called by God to where Kenneth "K.J." Dukes Jr. waited for her. 

She was born on August 15, 1960 in San Diego, CA and was a resident Mandeville, 
LA at the time of her death.

The beloved wife of Victor J. Whitacre, she is survived by five children: Cara 
Koontz, Nina Koontz, Jena Whitacre, Victor Whitacre II, and Kali Whitacre; her 
mother Frances Figuero Jumper; her father, Kenneth B. Dukes and her stepfather, 
Eugene Jumper. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Elijah, Issiah, 
Savana, Kenneth Koontz and Robert Koontz, Jr., Kalan John and Katie Whitacre 
and niece, Cali Dukes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 2:00 PM on 
Friday, May 17, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Friday at 12:00 Noon.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately 
follow services.
