EVELYN CHABRECK DECKWA, of Lacombe, LA, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 
Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson, LA.

Beloved wife of the late Charles R. Deckwa.
Mother of JoAnn Rucker and husband Glenn Rucker.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Annie Chabreck.
Sister of Eva Mae Deckwa and husband Edward Deckwa.
Also survived by 2 grandchildren; Amber and Danny Smith and Danielle Coleman, 
great granddaughter, Lucy Rae Smith; nieces and nephews, Eddie and Karen 
Deckwa, Frankie and Susan Carollo, Steve and Mandy Deckwa, and Pam and Jake 
Chambers; and great nieces and nephews, Theresa Carollo, Kyle Deckwa, Cody 
Deckwa, Sadie Deckwa, Ethan Deckwa, Logan Laurent, Lisa and Chad Pate, and Olli 
Pate.

Age 81 years; a native and lifelong resident of Lacombe, LA, Mrs. Deckwa was a 
retired bookkeeper and was an organist at the Lacombe United Methodist Church.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at 
LACOMBE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 27577 St Joseph St Lacombe, LA 70445 on 
Friday, July 5, 2013 at 5:00pm.
