GAINES, LAWRENCE EUGENE 

On Friday, June 14, 2013, Lawrence Eugene Gaines passed away at his residence 
in Pearl River, La., at the age of 69 years.

He was a self-employed master plumber.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Darlene Singletary Gaines, and 3 children, 
Kyle Gaines, Sr., Colleen Gaines Hart and Kristen Gaines Esculano, Step-sons, 
Thomas Ray Jones, Jr., Jimmy Dwayne Jones, Wilbur Russell Jones and Ronald and 
Donald Jones, 3 sisters, Louise Williams, Alice Alford and Judy Butts.
He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob, Jered, Bryce, Gabrielle, 
and Little Kyle and 1 great-granddaughter, Sophia and a host of step-
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Adolph Eugene Gaines and Bessie “Big Mama” 
Gaines, and 2 sisters, Patricia Owens and Dorothy Swedberg.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the 
chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41, Pearl River, La., with 
visitation starting at 10:00 AM until service time.

Interment to follow at Audubon Cemetery, Hickory, La.
