DONALD “DON” HESSBRUEGGE, of Slidell, LA, made his last ambulance run on 
Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Ochsner Northshore Hospital in Slidell, LA.
Beloved husband of Sharon L. Hessbruegge for the past 27 years.
Father of Ann F. Summerlin (Brian), Josh Latch (Emily), Penny Robertson (Larry 
Byrd) and the late Jonn C. Troyani.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren; Sadie Lynn Robertson, Drew Summerlin, Tayden 
Latch, Jack Robertson, Gavin Scott Robertson, Margaret Ann Summerlin, and 
Harper James Latch; and 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Age 61 years; a native of Portland, OR and a resiedent of Slidell, LA since 
1985. Don served his country in the US Army as a Medic during the Vietnam 
Conflict. He worked as a Paramedic for Mobile Medic, Amserv, Emergency One, 
Priority One, Acadian Ambulance Service and the New Orleans EMS. He also worked 
in the Emergency Dept. at Northshore Regional Medical Center.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 
9:00am until 11:00am.
