Joy Craddock McCoy, of Carriere, MS, passed away on Tuesday, June 04, 2013, 
after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. 

Beloved wife for 56 years of John G. McCoy, a native of Slidell, LA, and mother 
of Ricky McCoy (wife Michele) of Mason, OH, and Raymond McCoy (wife Karen) of 
Hempstead, TX. Also survived by grandchildren: Whitney McCoy and Ryan McCoy, 
both of Mason, OH, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

Joy was preceded in death by her parents Elmore Craddock and Lula Moore 
Craddock, brothers Ira Craddock, Houston Craddock, Milton Craddock, Carl 
Craddock, and sisters Bama Quaid, Louise Smith, and Caroline Mitchell, all of 
Louisiana. 

Age 78 years; a native of Pearl River, LA, and a residence of Carriere, MS for 
19 years. Joy was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Order of The 
Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Pearl River Pearls Red Hat Club and 
the Newcomers Club for many years. 

Friends and relatives of the family are invited to attend the visitation and 
funeral services to be held at Honaker Funeral Home, Slidell, LA on Saturday, 
June 8, 2013. Visitation begins at 9:00am, followed by funeral service at 
11:00am. 

Interment will follow in Audubon Cemetery, Pearl River, LA. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the National 
Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
