Marlene Willie Mealer passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the age of 64.

A native of Folsom, LA and a resident of Lacombe, LA for the past 6 years.

Beloved wife of the late Jerry Glenn Frederick. Loving mother of Alfred Allen 
Frederick (Lisa), Jerry Frederick and David Frederick. Sister of Joseph Willie, 
Lloyd Mayfield, Winton Willie, Gayle Willie, Lucy Stogner, Joann Willie, Janice 
Willie and the late David Willie. Also survived by grandchildren Ashley, David, 
Danielle, Paige, and Josh Frederick.

She was honored for her unselfish, faithful, and dedicated assistance during 
the naval service of her husband. She served her family and friends as loyally 
and was called Nana by all that knew her. She will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 1:00 PM with visitation from 11:00 AM until service 
time. 

Interment will follow in Willie-Lee Cemetery, Folsom, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Marlene 
Mealer to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
