She is the proud beloved wife of Anthony, Sr. (A.J.) since June 16, 1956. Mother of Donna Martin (Keith), Terri Brennan (Mark), Michele Brustowicz (Mark) and Anthony, Jr. (A.J.) (Kim). Grandmother of Tara Denevan (Shane), Kelly Martin (Jon), Mark Brennan, Jr. (Debolina), Bradley Brennan (Lena), Lauren Montalbano (Rob), Kasey Montalbano and Taylor Brustowicz (Briana). Great- grandmother of Kolby Glaudi, Brody and Lyla Denevan, Julie Brennan and soon to be born Faith Marie LeBlanc. Born in Marksville on July 1, 1937 and raised in New Orleans, she lived many years in Harahan and was a resident of Lacombe, LA since 1979. Daughter of the late Kirby and Theresa Bordelon and Stepdaughter of Ann Bordelon Gahagan. Sister of Kermit Bordelon (Judy), Barbara Bordelon, Gerald Bordelon (Connie), Shirley Holshouser and the late Leroy Bordelon (Rita). Age 75. Jeanie was a devoted Catholic and was a former volunteer of Slidell Memorial Hospital for several years. She truly loved the work she did and her accomplishments. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Shuller and the MICU staff of Slidell Memorial Hospital for their compassion and guidance during our difficult time. Jeanie will be sadly missed by all who have been touched by her giving heart, friendliness and compassion, especially for children. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the religious services at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61051 Brier Lake Dr., Lacombe, LA, on Monday, June 10, 2013 beginning at 12:00pm. Visitation at church from 10:00am until mass time. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Hospital or masses preferred.
