ROY A. MORAN JR, 84, a longtime resident of Lacombe, LA, passed away on 
Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in Houston, Texas.

Beloved Husband of the late Gloria Ann Goldman Moran;
Father of daughters Mallary Ann Moran and partner Joseph Patrick Leonard, 
Brenda Moran Lemoine and husband David; and son Roy A. Moran III and wife 
Brenda.
Son of the late Roy A. and Lillian Kyle Moran;
Brother of Lester Moran, Naomi M. Elaize, and Claudia M. Noble;
Also survived by four grandchildren: Roy Moran IV, Craig Moran, Derek Lemoine, 
Nathan Lemoine; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Moran served two terms in the US Navy. He was a World War II Veteran who 
served aboard the USS Weiss as a baker.
He retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Chalmette and was a member of BPOE Lodge 
2321 in Slidell and BPOE Lodge 151 in Houston.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00am.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
