John Benjamin O'Keefe, 85 of Franklinton, Louisiana died on Thursday, June 27, 
2013.

He was born on Tuesday, June 12, 1928 in Blond, Louisiana. He was the husband 
of Theodora O'Keefe for 64 years.

He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Beloved father of Benjamin O'Keefe, James O'Keefe, Clinton O'Keefe, Christine 
Duczer and Bridget Lavigne and the late Theodore O'Keefe and Jeanne Marie 
O'Keefe. He was the brother of Lois Watson, Joyce Miller and the late Margie 
Willie. He will be greatly missed by his 14 grand children and 18 great grand 
children.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 1:00 PM with visitation from 11:00 AM until service 
time. 

Interment will follow in Bennett Cemetery.
