Jack Edward Stevens, born December 27, 1932, passed away on June 10, 2013, 
after a long illness. 

His loving wife, Mary Sharon Stevens, and his daughter Stephanie Ann Stevens 
preceded him in death. 

His sister, Linda Smith, his children, Scarlett Walker, Amber Guillot, Lindsey 
Wolfe, Steve Stevens, his grandchildren, Britt Johnson, Hope Walker, Caitlyn 
Grover, Collin Guillot, Chris Stevens, Corey Stevens and his great 
grandchildren, Nevin Johnson and Cora Walker, survive him. 

He is at peace, but he will be greatly missed.

Jack loved to fish, hunt, drink coffee and smoke cigarettes. He was a great 
storyteller, played the acoustic guitar and sang country songs better than 
Johnny Cash. He was employed as an electrical, petroleum, and turbine engineer, 
with only a high school diploma and a genius level intelligence. He could 
design, build or repair anything he attempted. Jack was a wonderful person, and 
it showed in his dedication to helping others. He was always available with a 
towing rope and jumper cables, or helping victims after a hurricane.

Jack’s funeral service will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. 
W. Slidell, La. 70460, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 10:00am. Friends may visit 
at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 9:00am. 

We hope that everyone who knew and loved him will come to share in our 
celebration of his life, and commemoration of his death.
